This will be a fun and relaxing immersion into the experience of making. Pairing the creation of art with meditation and yoga practices we will work on discovering the balance and peace that comes from creating in the present moment. We will work on specific mindfulness techniques to learn how to let go of everyday stresses through activities such as active meditation, nature walks, mandala drawing, and art journaling. We will be working with a variety of art mediums. Art projects include: mandalas in a variety of mediums, dream catchers, glitter jars, color therapy, chakra art, mala jewelry, vision board collages, journaling and hand lettering.
