Explore the lost art of hand rubbed finishes. You will learn the application and final rub out procedure. You are welcome to bring a small piece of furniture that you have started to refinish to learn how to refinish and apply a new finish. Topics will include sanding, applying Waterlox, waxing, and milk paint applications. Beginner and Beyond

Brenda Hall is a self-taught finisher and woodworker, who has been a maker for thirty years. She moved from Oregon 16 years ago with the intent of furthering her knowledge in the woodworking field. Brenda worked for a prestigious furniture maker in West Cornwall, CT for ten years where knowledge of various finishes greatly expanded.
