Weaving cloth is magic! In this beginning course, you will learn to plan and prepare a warp, dress a floor loom, weave a sampler of basic patterns and then create a finished 12” x 60” cotton scarf or table runner. Working primarily with cotton, we will also experiment with other plant and animal fibers as possible inclusions in the final piece. Learn loom anatomy, weaving vocabulary, methodology and craft technique in a logical way -- leaving confident, encouraged, and inspired. Beginner and Beyond
