Learn how to use torchworking to create wearable glass works of art. You will explore a multitude of techniques and tools to create one of a kind sculptures and jewelry pieces from colorful glass rods with individual instruction. David Licata is an artist from New York. He is a graduate of Cranbrook Academy of Art with a MFA in metalsmithing and BFA in Sculpture. From wearable chain maile to interactive nature based sculptures, his intricate torchworked glass works of art have been exhibited at SOFA, Glass weekend, Talente and Laura Donefers Glass fashion shows. David has taught high school art and glass workshops at various craft centers such as Penland, Peters Valley, the Brookfield Craft Center and Silvermine craft center. www.davidlicata.com
